What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a site stores in your browser. Local storage is a similar space that stores data in your browser without sending it on every visit.
This policy explains which ones Trazza uses on its website, in the private dashboard, and on businesses' public sites.
Which cookies we use
The table on this page lists each cookie with its name, purpose, duration, and type.
Trazza's cookies are first-party: our site creates them and they are not shared with other sites. Google's cookies are created only in the cases we explain below.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
trazza_session | Keep you signed in. It stores a random code; only its hash is kept in the database. | 30 days, or until you sign out | Essential |
trazza_active_organization | Remember which business you are working in. | 30 days; 8 hours when the Trazza team enters a customer's account | Essential |
trazza_active_location | Remember which branch you are working in. | 30 days | Essential |
trazza_platform_organization | Indicate that a Trazza team member entered a customer's dashboard from the platform. Each entry is logged. | 8 hours | Essential |
trazza_locale | Remember the language you chose. | 1 year | Preference |
trazza_sidebar | Remember whether the dashboard's side menu is open or closed. Used only in the private dashboard. | 1 year | Preference |
trazza_analytics_consent | Store your analytics choice, accepted or rejected. It is not a cookie: it is stored in your browser's local storage. | No expiration, until you clear the site's data in your browser | Essential (local storage) |
| _ga and _ga_* | Measure, in aggregate, how public pages are used, with Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager. Google creates them. | Up to 2 years, depending on Google's configuration | Third-party analytics, only if you accept |
| Google Maps cookies | Show the map with the location on the sites of businesses that turn that section on. Google creates them within the map. | Set by Google | Third-party; the map loads without asking for consent |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Check that whoever submits the demo form is a person. | Trazza does not create cookies for this; Cloudflare runs the verification in its own frame | Third-party security, required for the form |
Essential cookies
They let you sign in and work in the correct business and branch. Without them the dashboard does not work, which is why they do not ask for consent.
The session and active-business cookies can only be read by the server (HttpOnly), are sent only over secure connections, and are protected against requests from other sites (SameSite=Lax).
The session cookie stores a random code. In our database we store only its hash.
Preference cookies
They remember your language and whether the dashboard's side menu is open or closed. They are not used to identify you or to measure your activity.
The language cookie is created when you visit our pages or sign in, without asking for consent, because it only stores your choice.
Analytics
On Trazza's website and on businesses' public sites we use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand which content is useful. They load only if you accept analytics in the notice.
We measure events such as button clicks, language changes, and form submissions, along with the language, the page type, and the business's subdomain. We do not send Google your name, your email, or your phone number.
Analytics never loads in the private dashboard, on the sign-in page, or on the invitation or password recovery pages.
Google creates its own cookies, such as _ga, and may process your IP address and browser data according to its policies.
Other third-party services
Businesses' public sites that show their location include a Google map. The map loads without asking for consent when you reach that section, and Google may set cookies within it.
The demo form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person is submitting it. Trazza does not create cookies for this: Cloudflare runs the verification in its own frame and receives technical data from your browser and your IP address.
How to change your choice
You can change your analytics choice with the preferences button on this page. If you reject analytics after having accepted it, the Google cookies already created are not deleted automatically: delete them from your browser settings.
Businesses' public sites do not yet have a button to change the preference. To see the notice again, clear that site's data in your browser.
You can also block or delete cookies from your browser. If you block the essential ones, you will not be able to sign in.
Change your analytics preference
Use this button to accept or reject analytics at any time. If you had accepted it and now reject it, the Google cookies already created are not deleted automatically: delete them from your browser settings.
Changes to this policy
If we add or change cookies, we will update this page and its date.
